In some countries it is dangerous to ride a bike
For many people it will be a surprise but there are cities that have no roads for riders of bikes. And people ride bikes on roads that are used by cars! The situation is horrible and, as a consequences, many accidents happen. Authorities of these cities don’t understand and people are not ready to protect their rights.
It should also be added that drivers in these cities are not polite and careful. They don’t respect each other, not talking about those who ride bicycles. There is a prejudice, that those who ride bikes are poor people. That is why they prefer buying big and old cars, instead of smaller and newer ones. But there is a schwinn cruiser bicycle, which is very expensive and only people who make money can afford having one.
But all the societies develop and probably one day people will understand everything. It is much better to ride bikes on special roads. It is so nice when people are polite and you don’t have to worry for your life while riding. Let us hope for the best.
